Give up politics and live happily ever after in Disney Land

What, this couldn't wait until after the Survivor finale tomorrow? Now I'm bummed.

OK, Chad, all seriousness aside, if you haven't seen or heard this yet, I'm sure it will cheer you up.
Thanks Ted. It did...sort of. I guess I won't be doing cart wheels since this is the latest in a long line of awkward moments for Bomamma and those gaffes, missteps, etc., haven't made any difference in his campaign. Nothing, and I MEAN NOTHING he does sticks. The media won't have it and his willing thrall won't have it either. Sorry man. I'm just so disgusted right now and so exhausted. I'm on the edge. I'm considering giving up blogging altogether, or at least changing the scenery. I have no connection to mainstream politics anymore. I have no voice, no party I can relate to and nothing but disdain for the current political machine. I really need to talk to you, I don't know if I need to vent or just to have someone a little older and wiser talk me down off this ledge.

Chad,

This shows just how cloudy your thinking is if you feel the need to talk to me!?

But seriously, folk, all you are is late to the non-party.

OK,more seriously, I feel like quitting everyday - for the past four years, and I actually do at times.

What, you need more serious yet? How about this: you have no idea what sticks and what doesn't because the media is totally in bed with Barry and Michelle's high school reunion.

We won't know what stuck until later, and possibly right up to election day, but look, you and I know this is the worst man who ever ran. You know I'm not exaggerating.

And people are learning about him, so i don't want to believe that the American voter is so corrupted that he'll be elected, even if they were almost that corrupt in the last two presidential elections.

One thing that has caught my attention is how Obosupporters spin things so that all his failings seem trivial, at least to them, whereas you and I attempt to assign the proper weight to everything - on both sides. Most good conservative columnists do that too, but because morals and conscience usually lead them to side with the Republican candidates, the amoral left thinks they are as blindly biased as the jackass left is.

And oh, if only they actually were jackasses, eh, instead of the evil beings that they are? Or maybe I'm wrong, you tell me... if you have good intentions but support evil, are you evil yourself?

Bottom line: I am every bit as disillusioned as you are, but unlike you, I'm not quitting because if I did, how would I know whether you did?

The non-party. Now there's an idea. It's an organization which boasts the largest membership of grass roots supporters in the USA. Reminds me of Monte Bruster's "Vote None of the Above." I like it, Ted.

"Bottom line: I am every bit as disillusioned as you are, but unlike you, I'm not quitting because if I did, how would I know whether you did?"

Alright, we're a dying breed, but we're in this together. I'll take this under advisement. Talk to you later, friend.
Anytime. I can't solve my own problems, so why not yours...?
[this is good]
I'm a "Conservatarian" so I feel for you. Best, Zak Klemmer
Thanks for the comment, Zak. My breed is on the verge of extinction. Anyway, I was checking out Ted's blog tonight and saw where he had hyperlinked to your post on Obama. So I figured I needed to get over there and check that out, which I did. And I'm glad I did because I can see we have a lot in common. First thing I did after reading that post was to add you to my neighborhood.
